Information We Collect
Analytics
We store statistical information about the usage of our app. None of this is personally identifiable. We do not store any personal information about our users. Sending analytics data can be turned off in Showdown’s settings. We use TelemetryDeck as a third-party analytics service. TelemetryDeck’s privacy policy can be found here.
Crashlogs
We use Apple’s developer tools to retreive logs for crashes that happened while Showdown was running. The consent for transmission of this data is handled by Apple in the device’s operating system. Apple’s privacy policy can be found here.
If you email us for support or other feedback, the emails and email addresses will be retained for a certain time. The email addresses will only be used to reply to the concerns or suggestions raised. They will never be used for any marketing purpose and they will never be shared with third parties.
Payment Data
We use Apple as a payment provider for in-app purchases. Apple’s privacy policy can be found here. We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat’s privacy policy can be found here. We use randomly generated identifiers in the app to anonymously identify devices and users for validating your purchases. Your anonymous user identifier (the “User ID”) may be synced to your other devices via iCloud. Your user ID is also associated with data sent to RevenueCat.
Information Usage
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support. We do not share personal information with outside parties.
iCloud
Showdown stores your data in Apple’s iCloud service, such as your library and lists to enable sync features between all devices signed into your Apple ID.
Accessing Your Information
You may access or change the data Showdown stored in iCloud or delete your account at any time by going into Settings > iCloud on your iOS device.
Third-party Links and Content
Showdown uses The Movie Database (TMDB) and Trakt for all movie and TV show information. TMDB and Trakt have their own independent privacy policy, and we have no responsibility or liability for their content or activities.
